Prior to joining PIMCO in 2017, he was a quantitative macro strategist at Laurion Capital Management in New York City. Prior to Laurion, he was a market/macro strategist for PNC Bank and MKP Capital Management. He started his career at Lehman Brothers, focusing on quantitative rate strategies. He has written numerous research papers, including “A Framework for Valuing Treasury Inflation Protected Securities,” published in 2008 in the Handbook of Finance. He has 19 years of investment and financial services experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Kansas and a Ph.D. in financial economics from Columbia University.
