He also covers securitized products originated by those financial institutions. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2013, he was a vice president and insurance sector equity analyst at Goldman Sachs. Previously, he was with Taiyo Pacific Partners, Tokyo Star Bank and Zurich Life Insurance Company. He has 24 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Fulbright Scholar. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Tokyo.
